ビスポークとは、既にある型を調整するのではなく、お客様一人ひとりのために型紙から新たに作り上げていく仕立てです。
採寸では、単にサイズを測るだけではありません。肩の傾斜や左右差、胸や背中の厚み、立ち姿の癖、腕の付き方、重心の位置まで確認し、その方の身体にとって自然に見え、自然に着られる形を探っていきます。
さらに、好みのバランスや着用シーン、求める印象まで共有しながら型紙を起こし、仮縫いを通して襟の収まり、肩まわり、胸の立体感、袖の落ち方、全体のシルエットを細かく整えていきます。
そうして完成する一着は、単にサイズが合う服ではありません。身体に沿い、感覚に馴染み、その人の佇まいまで美しく見せるための服です。
Bespoke is not the adjustment of an existing block.
It is the creation of a new pattern, drafted from the ground up for each individual.
Measurement alone is never enough.
The angle of the shoulders, natural imbalance, the structure of the chest and back, posture, arm pitch, and the body’s centre of balance are all taken into account,
to arrive at a shape that feels effortless to wear and entirely natural in appearance.
The pattern then evolves through dialogue—through an understanding of proportion, purpose, and the impression each garment is intended to leave.
With each fitting, the collar, shoulders, chest, sleeves, and overall silhouette are refined with precision.
The finished garment is not simply one that fits.
It is one that moves with the body, aligns with the wearer’s instincts, and lends quiet clarity to his presence.
