福沢 大貴
1995年、北海道旭川生まれ。文化服装学院卒業。
カジュアルなスーツやセットアップを販売する会社、そしてオートクチュールのドレスを手がけるブランドに従事したのち本物のスーツを自らの手で作れるようになりたいという思いから、仕立ての道へ進む。
師匠のもとで二年間、型紙、縫製、フィッティングを学び、一着を最初の線から完成へ導くための基礎を磨いてきた。
持てる技術を惜しみなく伝え、若手を育て続ける師匠の姿勢は、その礎となっている。
2027年夏からは英国ロンドンへ渡り、数年間、本場の技術を学ぶ予定。目指すのは、長く信頼される仕立て、そして世界に通用する技術を持ったテーラー。
Born in 1995 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and educated at Bunka Fashion College,
he worked in the world of casual suiting and tailored separates, as well as with a brand creating haute couture dresses, before turning decisively toward bespoke.
Driven by the desire to create a true suit with his own hands,
he spent two years under the guidance of a master tailor, learning pattern drafting, construction, and fitting.
The master’s commitment to passing on craft and nurturing younger
generations remains a lasting foundation.
From the summer of 2027, he will move to London to continue his training in the traditions of British tailoring for several years.
The ambition is to build tailoring of lasting value, and to become a tailor whose craft can stand on the world stage.
Philosophy
仕立てへの信念
仕立てを学ぶ中で、追いかけているのは技術だけではありません。
本質的な衣服とは何か。
本質的なスーツとは何か。
良い仕立てとは何か。
その答えを求めながら、歴史や伝統を学び、それを自分の手で表現できるようになりたいと考えています。
ただ、それを押しつけるつもりはありません。仕立ては、作り手だけのものではなく、お客様との対話の中で、はじめて完成に近づくものだと思っています。
時代や感覚に寄り添いながら、愛着を持って着ていただける一着を
ともに作り上げていくこと。
そして、ただ作るだけではなく、良い仕立ての魅力を伝え、次へと繋いでいく存在でありたい。そう考えています。
What I pursue in tailoring is not technique alone.What is essential clothing. What is essential suiting. What truly defines good tailoring.In search of these answers, I continue to study history and tradition, with the aim of expressing them through my own hands.But I do not believe in imposing those ideals. Tailoring does not belong to the maker alone; it comes closer to completion through dialogue with the client.To create, together, a garment that feels true to the individual, attuned to the times, and worthy of lasting attachment.And beyond simply making clothes, I hope to become someone who can convey the value of fine tailoring, and carry it forward.
